Puppy Teeth

Bridget Sweet

$15 / risograph printed / 36 pages

A Seattleite by way of South Florida, writer Bridget Sweet debuts over 15 poems on queer identity, girlhood trauma, and surviving dystopian America. Sweet beckons readers through surreal scenes of pep talks from dead dogs, face-offs with bi myths personified, and pranks by "coven-unions" of intersectional witches. At once tender and biting, Puppy Teeth explores what must be done when the weapons that once saved us start breaking our own skin.
